Tenuta di Ghizzano Veneroso 1996
It is the historical wine of the farm, and therefore the most representative of it. It was first made in the year 1985 and, with its elegance and persistence, it can be said to interpret the specific characteristics of the terroir (earthy taste). It is made from Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, with a small percentage of Merlot. It has become a milestone for the wine-growing area where it originated.

Wine SpectatorClean and fruity. Dark, with lots of grape, raspberry and violet character. Full-bodied, with fine tannins and a good amount of fruit. Needs a bit more on the finish. Drink now.
