Capçanes
Medium ruby with violet shades; very nice Glycerin mouth feel and texture; wild berry flavors, cherry, spices and herbs; well- integrated light and smooth vanilla oak toasty notes; ripe and full, and in spite of its concentration, still fresh and in no way over-matured; very much Garnacha: lots and lots of sweet vibrant fruit; medium to full-bodied with soft and velvet tannins and fresh, inviting finish. Enjoy with pasta, lamb, pizza or robust cheeses, like Munster, Stilton or Manchego.
Wine Enthusiast
Smoky and dry for starters, then crisp in the mouth, with bright red fruit flavors of cherry and plum. Picks up oak, heat and sweetness on the finish, but overall this is exactly the type of flavor-packed red wine most people want. Grenache with 15% Syrah.

Wine Advocate
The red wines begin with the 2009 Mas Donis Barrica, a blend of 80% Garnacha and 20% Syrah aged for 9 months in French and American oak. It gives up a fragrant nose of mineral, spice box, black cherry, and black raspberry. In the glass it reveals a bit of structure, ripe, spicy black fruits, and excellent length. It is an outstanding value for drinking over the next 4-5 years.

Sustainable practices incorporate organic standards and may exceed them and include ecologically and socially sound business practices such as fair pay for farm workers and energy conservation.
Screw Cap
Wines sealed with a screw cap as opposed to a cork, which experts report protects and preserves wine more effectively than does a cork, while also eliminating the possibility of cork taint.
No Sulfites
All wines naturally contain some sulfites, however wines that contain less than 10 parts per million sulfites are not required to include "Contains Sulfites" on their labels.

I still believe it is the simplest way to rate a wine, with its origins from grade school in the United States. A wine that I rate 90 points or more is outstanding (A), and worth buying. If I rate a wine 95 points or more (A+), it is a must buy.
